Goal: To learn how plant propagation is an important part of successful gardening and commercial horticulture.
Description: Watch plant specialists demonstrate the four popular methods of propagation- seed, vegetative parts (i.e., bulb, corm, tuber, root), division and micropropagation. Advantages of each type of propagation, use of and composition of growing media, environmental concerns and specific plant parts used in propagation are explained. Watch the methods performed on various types of plants.

Learn the basics of plant identification with the logical presentation of foliage, stems, branches, flowers, scents, fruit, growth habits and more. Viewers discover techniques, such as mental exercises and memorization tricks, for learning common and botanical names, and they see how botanical names are interpreted. Then, viewers are challenged to identify dormant deciduous plants.
